Re-opening of Andrew Bayliss Hair Salons

We are so excited, finally after a long 3 months, we have opened our salon doors again as of Monday the 13th. The new measures we have put in place to comply with government guidelines for close contact services have so far been well executed by the team and hopefully be received well by all our clients. Its been so lovely to see you all again!

It is no secret that independent businesses are having a tough time and we are no exception. Having to remain closed for over 3 months has been difficult for us. The saving grace was the furlough scheme, having the team at home and safe with enough money to pay their bills was a blessing. However, whilst the grants and loans have been a welcome handout, our business has been left in a precarious position. Over 30 years in business we have experienced some ups and downs, but this one has surpassed all previous challenges. When you next visit us you will see we are doing things a little differently in order to keep you and the team safe. We have written to you previously about how your experience will change, if you want to see that information again it is on our website or we will resend it to you by request. The only amendment since our last letter, we have now decided to change our policy for entering the salon. For your added safety, when you arrive the door will be locked and you will be required to ring the bell for entry.

But the main purpose of this post is to ask for your help.


Rebook your appointment

By rebooking your next appointment you are helping us plan forward for the future. We know life is busy and plans change, we promise to be flexible if you need to change your appointment. In fact, for us, clients who rebook have priority. Your name is in our book and therefore in our heart. We see your name regularly as we review our upcoming weeks. How does that old saying go – out of sight out of mind? What rebooking also does is ensures you get your service timely, without a rebooked appointment you are only reminded that it’s time for a visit to us when you have a bad hair day or two. It takes a couple of days to get round to calling us, a few more days before we find the appointment that suits and before you know it you are way overdue a visit. We want to help you stay looking your very best with a regular hair routine.

Recommend us

The finest compliment you can pay us is to recommend us to your friends. We would love the opportunity to look after them and promise to give them the same attention we give you. When you purchase your shampoo from us you help to support our business. We are passionate about beautiful hair so we only use the finest professional products. Ingredients and formulations are important for the performance of products, we will do our very best to listen carefully to your needs and recommend what will work best for you. Keeping your hair looking and feeling its best is 60% what we do in the salon and 40% what you do at home, we want to make sure you are well equipped for looking good every day. We understand that you have a budget, your stylist will work with you to help you decide what is best for you and your hair needs. Our shampoos start from £8.80 and please remember all our products are concentrated with ingredients to give great value and last longer when used correctly. Should you buy a product from us and you discover it is not working for you, we are happy to exchange it for another. We are passionate about you recreating your look at home.
